Crawling baby, Reading, and Sewing

Part 1: Crawling Baby! Well, it is official. Chloe is crawling EVERYWHERE. And all it took was me going to Dallas, TX to babysit my sister's 5 kids for a week. Needless to say, Chloe was totally neglected by me because I was so busy with my nieces and nephews, their school schedules, football practices, piano lessons, theater classes, going to friends houses, driving them places, etc... so I couldn't give her near as much attention as I normally do, which was sad, but hey, at least the girl learned to crawl!

Oh, and one more item of big and important news... Chloe now has 4 teeth. She just keeps getting cuter and cuter. Here are a couple pics of her these past 2 weeks:

Part 2: Reading! Danny is pretty much the cutest dad ever, and loves spending time with Chloe. She thinks he is hilarious. These two are so cute together. The other day I walk into the room, only to see them reading together... and Chloe actually seemed interested. Future book worm like her dad? I think so.

Part 3: Sewing! Okay, I am addicted to sewing. It is pretty much the funnest thing ever, and I love having projects to work on. My friend, Annie, and I decided to make some decorative pillows for our apartments. We went to Walmart, bought some fabric, designed the pattern, and sewed for 2 days... I was in heaven! It was so much fun, and now we have these cute pillows to show off. We were so proud. Here we are after our first day, after making 2 pillows each...

Well, that's pretty much all that's going on with us. We have made some great friends, which has been awesome. It is still SO hot here in Phoenix... I think it's been around 102 degrees this past week. It is insane. And Danny is still way busy with school, but he is loving it and loves the stuff he's learning. I'm so proud! Although we are loving med school life, we miss all of our friends and family, and seasons! I'm so sad I'm missing my favorite season right now... where the leaves change colors, the weather gets chilly, you have a reason to wear jackets and scarves, and an excuse to sit by the fire drinking hot chocolate. I love the fall... so all of you enjoying fall, just know that I am jealous... roasting in the AZ heat.
