We had lots of activities going on this year for Halloween. Every year, Danny's school puts on a big Halloween bash for kids, complete with bounce houses, slides, games, lots of food, cookie decorating, face painting, and of course trick-or-treating. They do a great job. Chloe loved it... maybe a little too much. She ran from booth to booth collecting candy, and although we had practiced beforehand over and over to say "trick or treat", all that ever seemed to come out of her mouth at each booth was "I want candy". We've got some practicing of manners we clearly need to work on...
On our way out to the Midwestern party in her ballerina costume (minus the tights - it was too hot).
Trick-or-treating through the halls with her daddy
Getting her face painted
The slide
Her face says it all. And of course she yelled and cried when we told her she couldn't go a third time (we aren't cruel parents - we just didn't want to wait in line again).

And then we had our ward trunk-or-treat at the church the next day. As if we didn't already have enough candy. Danny and I dressed up as pumpkins, aka the world's most ghetto costumes. But hey, it's all I can fit into these days.
Another family pic.
Getting ready to start!
Chloe and her friend Evelyn
Chloe got scared at a house where they were dressed up as monsters. It was pretty funny. Their faces say it all.
Yes, I realize that Chloe looks like Snaggletooth in this pic, but hey, it was the only one we took of our family! Happy Halloween everyone!
Actual Halloween- It was quite the low key Halloween for us. Danny has finals next week, so needless to say, he has been pretty busy. Chloe and I had a typical day, then Danny came home from school and we made pizza for dinner, then took Chloe REAL trick-or-treating for her first time. She loved it, except for the houses that were decorated scarily... then she cried bloody murder. We scored with the neighborhood we went to... all the houses were decorated and everyone was outside giving out candy, snacks, and drinks. It was great.
